We should live according to the Gospel
There are some Catholics criticizing Pope Francis or what he has done, this can be seen in YouTube especially from the YouTubers and the comments. In my opinion, this behaviour is not following the gospel.
Let’s remember what did St Joseph do? “[…] Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to send her away quietly” (Matt 1:19). Joseph, a just man, unwillingly to put Mary to shame, wanted to send her away quietly. This is how a just man do. However, some Catholics they are publicly criticizing the pope.
“Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.” (Matt 7:3-4)
“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother." (Matt 18:15)
“Judge not, and you will not be judged” (Luke 6:37)
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35)
We should spread the good news, we should spread the love.
